💡 Tip: Scroll by about three quarters of a screen between screenshots. A bit of overlap is what lets the stitcher find the exact join; no overlap means the seam has to be set by hand.
For each pair of screenshots the stitcher compares rows of pixels. Rows that are identical at the very top and bottom of both screenshots are the fixed header and footer; the scrolling content in between is slid against the previous screenshot until the rows line up, first on a small copy and then refined at full resolution. When the best match is clearly better than every other position, the seam is marked ✅.
Some screens are hard: a stretch of plain background, a looping animation, a clock that changed. In those cases the seam is marked ⚠️ rather than guessed silently, and the sliders let you set it yourself while the red seam line shows exactly where the join falls. Everything happens in your browser — your chats are never uploaded.
