How to make the reunion photo — 4 steps

  1. 1

Under Add 1–4 photos, drop your photos onto the box or click to choose. Up to 4 photos — the group shot plus each family member who could not come, or everyone separately.

  2. 2

The ✨ AI Photo Blend tab opens automatically with the 👨‍👩‍👧 Group photo style already selected. Choose a Scene like "green garden" or "family gathering" to give everyone the same setting.

  3. 3

Press ✨ Blend with AI. The result appears in about 10–20 seconds; failed generations are never counted.

  4. 4

Press ⬇️ Download result (no watermark) or 📤 Share. Not quite right? Change one thing and blend again.

💡 Tip: Similar photo quality across all pictures gives the most natural result.

Building a group from separate photos

Upload one photo per person or per household — up to four per merge — and choose Group photo. Describe the arrangement if you have a preference: "grandparents seated in the centre, everyone else standing behind". The AI composes a single scene with consistent light, one floor and one background rather than a collage, so it reads as a photograph rather than a montage.

Including someone who has passed away

Many families use this to include a parent or grandparent in a photo with grandchildren they never met. Upload a clear photo of them and choose Memorial merge, which keeps their appearance exactly as photographed and places them naturally rather than as a floating cut-out. Results are private to you; nothing is kept on our side.

Tips for the most natural result

  • Use photos taken from a similar distance — a close-up face next to a full-body shot is hard to scale convincingly.
  • Mixed eras work, but say so: "1980s photo of grandfather, keep his clothing" stops the AI from modernising him.
  • Prefer photos where people look at the camera; group photos look wrong when one person gazes elsewhere.
  • Generate two or three versions and let the family pick.

Frequently asked questions

Does everyone need to be in the same kind of photo?

No. Indoor and outdoor, old and new can be combined. Similar lighting helps, but the AI relights each person to the scene.

Is it respectful to add someone who has died?

That is a family decision. The tool changes nothing about the person's appearance and stores nothing; many families find it comforting.

Can I print the result?

Yes — download the full-resolution PNG. Up to 2048px on the long edge prints well at 8×10 inches.

What if a face comes out wrong?

Use Try again. Each generation is new, and failed ones are not charged.
